      Trinidad and Tobago - Country economic report: toward a program of policy reform and renewed growth (English) Abstract. As the economy of Trinidad and Tobago is at a crossroads, this report reviews serious recent economic developments and the main policy issues for the country. On Thursday I delivered another lecture at Providence College, Rhode Island, under the rubric “Slavery, Education, and Social Justice.” I spoke about my most recent book, The Slave Master of Trinidad and how the life of William Hardin Burnley illuminated the topic at hand.
